The Challenge

Holiday Inn wanted to revitalize its on-site dining experience to better engage the local community and attract a broader audience. The existing restaurant lacked a distinct identity and failed to stand out in Southern California’s competitive hospitality and culinary scene. The challenge was to create a concept that felt both locally rooted and modern, while aligning with Holiday Inn’s global brand standards.

The Vision

To transform the restaurant into a vibrant gastro pub that celebrates local history and culture, while offering a contemporary and inviting atmosphere. The goal was to build a brand that would resonate with both hotel guests and neighborhood patrons—making it a destination in its own right.

The Solution

Solution

We led a 12-week hybrid engagement to develop a comprehensive brand strategy and digital experience for the new concept:

  • Naming & Identity: Created the name 12 Sixty, inspired by regional heritage, giving the venue a story and sense of place.

  • Visual Branding: Designed a bold logo and cohesive visual identity that reflects both sophistication and approachability.

  • Digital Experience: Built a responsive website optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile, showcasing the menu, ambiance, and brand story.

  • Print Collateral: Delivered branded materials for in-venue use, reinforcing the identity across touchpoints.


Through strategic creative direction and brand positioning, 12 Sixty launched as a modern gastro pub that successfully bridges tradition and trend—quickly becoming a sought-after destination in the region.
