Honda’s global workforce was operating across silos, with limited access to shared knowledge, resources, and internal communication tools. The company needed a unified intranet platform to foster collaboration, streamline operations, and reinforce its brand culture across international teams.
The Vision
The goal was bold: to design and build a digital space that connected every Honda employee—regardless of geography or department. A platform that wasn’t just functional, but inspiring. One that reflected Honda’s spirit of innovation and openness to possibility.

The Solution
We developed Honda Connect, a modern intranet experience built on Microsoft SharePoint, designed to unify teams and empower communication.
Key features included:
Global Information Architecture: Structured to support multilingual content and regional customization
Employee-Centered Design: Informed by nationwide interviews and feedback sessions
Intuitive Navigation: Clear pathways to HR resources, company news, and team collaboration spaces
Branded Visual Language: A design system that echoed Honda’s values of precision, innovation, and unity
Secure Access & Permissions: Role-based controls to ensure privacy and relevance
Research & Discovery
To ensure the platform reflected real employee needs, I led a national research tour:
Conducted in-person interviews across multiple Honda locations
Facilitated workshops to gather insights and pain points
Integrated employee feedback directly into design decisions
