The Challenge
Faced with outdated technology and operational inefficiencies across over 2,000 Jiffy Lube locations, the existing point-of-sale (POS) system no longer met the evolving needs of the business. The legacy platform hindered service speed, limited scalability, and failed to support modern customer expectations—creating a critical need for a comprehensive redesign and re-platforming to improve performance, usability, and overall experience.

The Solution
To modernize Jiffy Lube’s POS system across 2,000+ locations, I led a comprehensive redesign and re-platforming initiative as Project Lead, UX Strategist, and Creative Director. The solution was grounded in a carefully structured information architecture that balanced operational efficiency with intuitive user journeys.
Early wireframes evolved into interactive prototypes, rigorously tested and refined to optimize user flows and interface elements. The final user interface featured a visually engaging, nature-inspired design with intuitive icons and a clean layout that enhanced emotional connection and ease of use. Accessibility and inclusivity were prioritized, with features such as screen reader compatibility, scalable text, and color blindness modes ensuring a seamless experience for all users.
This user-centered, tech-forward approach streamlined operations, elevated customer satisfaction, and positioned the business for scalable growth.
